On the obverse, the coin displays an adaptation of the famous 1907 Gold Double Eagle design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. This historic image depicts Lady Liberty walking forward with determination, silhouetted against the radiant rays of a rising sun. The design is accompanied by the inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST." The reverse, created by Miley Busiek, offers a detailed family portrait of America's national bird. A male bald eagle is captured mid-flight, carrying an olive branch back to a nest where a female eagle and her young wait. This side of the coin features the national mottos "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and "IN GOD WE TRUST," alongside the denomination and metal weight inscriptions.
