In 2017, the Philadelphia Mint produced a clad quarter honoring the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, a protected natural area established in 1964. This specific coin features a brilliant uncirculated finish and carries the "P" mint mark below the classic motto on the right side of the obverse. The front of the coin displays the familiar profile of George Washington, a portrait originally sculpted by John Flanagan. Sanders captures a piece of late nineteenth-century industrial history with a depiction of Alley Mill.
