Crafted from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, the coin's obverse displays the profile of Paul Kruger. Surrounding his likeness are inscriptions declaring the nation of origin, South Africa, written in both English and Afrikaans. The reverse side showcases the iconic springbok antelope bounding across the landscape. Positioned just above the antelope is a special circular privy mark containing the number 50, a direct nod to the golden jubilee of the series. The reverse also displays the 2017 year of minting, the face value of 1 Rand, and details of the coin's silver weight. This specific specimen is certified in Specimen 70 condition, representing a coin of exceptional strike and preservation.
