2018-W Proof American Silver Eagle PF-70 NGC (Early Releases)

---

The 2018-W Proof American Silver Eagle represents a stunning fusion of modern minting excellence and classic American design. Struck at the West Point Mint, this sovereign coin contains one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. Backed by the United States government, the coin features a proof finish, which highlights the sharp contrast between the frosted design elements and the deep, mirror-like background fields. The obverse of the coin showcases the iconic walking figure of Lady Liberty, gracefully draped in the American flag. She moves toward a rising sun over a mountain ridge, a design originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. The inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "2018" accompany this timeless depiction of liberty. On the reverse, a heraldic eagle stands beneath a cluster of thirteen small stars, which represent the original American colonies. The reverse inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" along with the weight and denomination, "1 OZ. FINE SILVER" and "ONE DOLLAR". The West Point "W" mint mark is also visible on this side, signifying its origin of manufacture. This particular coin has been graded in perfect Proof 70 Ultra Cameo condition, indicating its flawless strike and exceptional visual contrast.
