The 2019 American Silver Eagle represents the thirty third release in the United States Mint's celebrated annual bullion series. Struck in one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this coin carries a face value of one dollar and is backed by the United States government. Its enduring popularity stems from a harmonious blend of twentieth century artistry and traditional national emblems. On the obverse, Lady Liberty moves gracefully toward a rising sun over a mountain ridge, draped in the folds of the American flag. This classic image, originally created by Adolph A. Weinman, is adapted from the historic Walking Liberty half dollar. The inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "2019" are clearly legible alongside the central figure. The reverse side features a powerful heraldic eagle positioned beneath a cluster of thirteen small stars, a design by John Mercanti that evokes the Great Seal of the United States. In its beak, the eagle holds a ribbon inscribed with "E PLURIBUS UNUM". The surrounding text denotes the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", and the coin's specifications, "1 OZ.
