Minted from 0.9999 pure silver, the coin belongs to a celebrated series that commenced in 1990, known for debuting a brand new depiction of the bird on its reverse side with each annual release. On the reverse of this 2019 edition, the kookaburra is depicted resting on a branch that stretches over a body of water, set against the backdrop of a declining sun and detailed leaves. The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mint mark is integrated into this detailed scene. The obverse is notable for introducing the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II to this specific coin series for the first time.
