Struck in 0.986 fine gold, this Austrian sovereign issue carries a face value of 50 Euros and contains exactly a quarter ounce of precious metal. It honors the profound legacy of Viktor Frankl, the world-famous Viennese psychotherapist who lived from 1905 to 1997. Frankl, a Jewish survivor of four different Nazi concentration camps, went on to write the landmark book, Man's Search for Meaning, sharing his deep observations on human resilience and purpose. The obverse of the coin displays a detailed portrait of Viktor Frankl. On the reverse, the design beautifully captures the concept of finding purpose in life.
