The 2019 Kennedy half dollar, struck at the Denver Mint, represents a modern continuation of one of America's most recognizable coin series. This particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcasing the sharp details of its original strike just as it appeared when leaving the coining press. The physical composition of the piece features an outer layer of copper and nickel bonded securely to a core of pure copper. On the obverse, a left-facing portrait of President John F. Kennedy dominates the field. This detailed bust was created by sculptor Gilroy Roberts. The design includes the national motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" positioned directly beneath the portrait, with the Denver "D" mint mark and the 2019 date visible. Turning to the reverse, the design by Frank Gasparro displays a powerful heraldic eagle. The eagle holds a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing both strength and peace. This central motif is surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the denomination "HALF DOLLAR", alongside the traditional Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
