This vast expanse of protected land stands as the single largest contiguous federal wilderness area in the United States outside of Alaska. The reverse of the coin captures the raw energy of the Idaho wilderness, depicting a lone boater navigating a rowboat through the rushing waters of the Salmon River, framed by towering pines and rugged canyon walls. The inscriptions on this side read "RIVER OF NO RETURN WILDERNESS", "IDAHO", "2019", and "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
