This particular release, marking the eighth entry in the ongoing collection, is struck from one troy ounce of highly refined 0.9999 fine gold. With a limited mintage of only 5,000 pieces, the coin serves as legal tender across the eight member territories of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. The reverse side of the coin captures a tranquil tropical scene, depicting a pair of flamingos facing one another. They stand before a calm ocean backdrop as the sun sinks toward the horizon. To enhance security and frame the artwork, the outer rims of the coin are decorated with a pattern of wavy radial lines. On the obverse, the coin displays the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Surrounding the royal likeness are inscriptions indicating the issuing authority, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, along with the coin's face value of ten dollars and its gold purity.
