Its smaller physical size does not diminish the incredible detail captured on both sides of the coin. On the front, the design draws inspiration from the historic Gold Double Eagle created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It portrays Lady Liberty moving forward with confidence, holding a lit torch in one hand to light her path and an olive branch in the other. The year 2020 is inscribed alongside this timeless symbol of freedom. The reverse side, designed by Miley Busiek, captures a powerful scene of family and nature. A male bald eagle is depicted in mid-flight, carrying an olive branch back to a nest where a female eagle and their young await. This detailed image is accompanied by inscriptions indicating the weight and purity of the gold, alongside the traditional mottoes of the nation.
