As the thirty second entry in the ongoing Biblical Series, and the second design released in 2020, this piece is struck from two troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver. The coin is finished with an antique look that highlights the deep textures of its dramatic scene. The reverse side depicts the moment of betrayal, showing Judas kissing Jesus amidst an encroaching crowd of Roman soldiers and an agitated mob. This intricate composition is inspired by the historic illustrations of Gustave Doré. To preserve the artwork's full impact, the design runs completely to the edge without a traditional raised border. On the obverse, the coin displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II created by Raphael Maklouf. Legible inscriptions surrounding the portrait include the issuing authority of Niue, the face value of two dollars, the 2020 date, and the weight and purity of the metal.
