Introduced originally in 2017, the celebrated Gold Swan series welcomed a new design in 2020. This particular issue is struck in one troy ounce of highly refined gold with a purity of 0.9999. Backed by the government of Australia as official legal tender, this sovereign coin was released with a strict limit of just 5,000 pieces worldwide. The reverse of the coin captures a swan in a dramatic pose with its wings fully spread. Alongside this elegant bird, the design incorporates the traditional "P" mint mark representing the Perth Mint, as well as the descriptive inscription "The 1OZ 9999 Australian Gold Swan". On the obverse, the coin displays the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This side also records the 100 Dollars face value and the 2020 year of issue, completing a beautifully balanced design.
