Struck by the Perth Mint, this modern silver coin showcases a detailed reverse design featuring a pair of mythical Pixiu. These legendary creatures are depicted resting upon a pile of traditional Chinese coins. One of the figures grips a ball, while the other holds a young Pixiu cub, all set against a stylized background pattern. The mint mark, a simple letter P, is also integrated into this side of the coin. The opposite side presents the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by the inscriptions of her name, the issuing country, the year 2020, and the face value of one dollar. Additional markings indicate the weight of one ounce and the ultra-pure silver content of 0.9999. Issued under the authority of the Australian Currency Act of 1965, this legal tender release was limited to a production run of 50,000 pieces.
