The 2020 silver two-pound coin from the United Kingdom offers a stunning display of traditional heraldry, rendered in one troy ounce of 0.9999 fine silver. The obverse is decorated with a detailed guilloche pattern that surrounds the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This side also denotes its official face value of two pounds. On the reverse, the historic Royal Arms takes center stage, set against a background of micro-engraved radial lines. This complex design, originally created by Eric Sewell and updated by Timothy Noad, features a quartered shield representing the constituent nations of the United Kingdom.
