The 2020 British Gold Sovereign represents a continuation of one of the most famous and enduring coinages in the world. Struck by The Royal Mint, this modern issue contains 0.2354 troy ounces of actual gold content, refined to a purity of 0.9167. Backed by the government of the United Kingdom, the coin is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcasing its historic designs with exceptional clarity. On the obverse, the coin displays the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by Latin inscriptions denoting her status as Queen by the Grace of God and Defender of the Faith.
