The 2020 Kennedy half dollar, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, stands as a modern continuation of one of America's most recognizable coin series. This particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcasing the sharp details of its original strike just as it appeared when leaving the coining press. On the obverse, the profile of President John F. Kennedy faces left, a design created by sculptor Gilroy Roberts. The inscription of the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," spans across the lower field of the portrait, while the year 2020 is anchored at the bottom. The small "P" mint mark is positioned just above the date, indicating its origin in Philadelphia. The reverse side features the work of designer Frank Gasparro, who depicted a powerful heraldic eagle. The eagle clutches a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing both strength and peace.
