The 2020 edition of the American Eagle palladium series showcases a brilliant combination of modern minting techniques and historic American coin artistry. Struck at the West Point Mint in New York, this coin is composed of one troy ounce of 0.9995 fine palladium. With a limited mintage of only 10,000 pieces, it represents a highly specialized release within the broader modern coin landscape. On the obverse, the design presents a powerful depiction of Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap. This iconic imagery is adapted from the historic work of sculptor Adolph Weinman, accompanied by the traditional inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the 2020 year of issue. The West Point "W" mint mark is also clearly visible on this side of the coin. The reverse displays a majestic eagle perched firmly upon a stone branch, holding a pine branch in its beak. This design, also originally conceived by Weinman, is surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the face value of "$25". The technical specifications of the metal are also integrated into the design, reading "1 oz. Pd 0.9995 FINE" alongside the legendary motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
