The legendary mottoes "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" are struck alongside the primary design elements, emphasizing the nation's foundational ideals. The reverse, created by Miley Busiek, showcases a detailed wildlife scene. A male bald eagle is captured mid-flight, carrying an olive branch back to a nest where a female eagle and their young await. This detailed image is accompanied by inscriptions denoting the weight and face value, reading "1 OZ. FINE GOLD" and "50 DOLLARS."
