This release represents the very first update to the reverse design since the inception of the popular bullion series in 1986. Struck in one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this particular specimen has achieved the highest possible grade of Mint State 70, denoting a coin of flawless preservation. On the obverse, the coin retains the classic depiction of Lady Liberty, a design originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. This iconic imagery shares its roots with the Walking Liberty Half Dollar, which circulated in the United States from 1916 to 1947. Legible inscriptions on this side include the year 2021 and the traditional motto, IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse showcases a completely new artistic vision by Emily Damstra, replacing the original motif used for over three decades. It features a detailed single eagle in flight, grasping an oak branch in its talons.
