In 2021, a special silver issue paid tribute to one of the most famous chapters in American coinage. This modern release marks exactly one hundred years since the final production of the original Morgan silver dollars, which were initially minted from 1878 to 1904 and then for one last run in 1921. To celebrate this centennial, the coin features a dedicated CC privy mark, recalling the legendary Nevada mint that produced many of the nineteenth-century originals. The obverse showcases a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a traditional Phrygian cap decorated with native American agricultural elements, specifically cotton blossoms and ears of wheat. On the reverse, an American eagle is depicted with its wings fully spread. The eagle holds an olive branch of peace alongside a cluster of arrows, all framed by a delicate laurel wreath. Struck in 0.858 troy ounces of fine silver, this piece has been certified in perfect Mint State 70 condition. With a strict mintage limit of 175,000 pieces, it stands as a highly precise modern tribute to a classic era of United States numismatics.
