0.8580 troy oz .999 2021 NGC

In 2021, a special silver issue paid tribute to one of America's most celebrated historic coins. This modern release arrived exactly one century after the final original Morgan dollars left the press in 1921. To honor this legacy, the coin features a prominent CC privy mark, recalling the historic Carson City Mint where many of the nineteenth-century originals were struck. The entire production run for this commemorative issue was strictly capped at 175,000 pieces. Struck in 0.858 troy ounces of fine silver, the coin retains the iconic imagery of the original series. The obverse presents a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap decorated with wheat ears and cotton blossoms, symbolizing American agriculture. The reverse displays a majestic bald eagle with its wings fully spread. In its talons, the eagle grasps a bundle of arrows and an olive branch, all framed by a delicate laurel wreath. This particular specimen is certified in perfect Mint State 70 condition, preserving every detail of this centennial tribute.
