The 2021 Kennedy half dollar, struck at the Denver Mint, continues a long-standing tradition in American coinage. This particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcasing the sharp details of its original strike just as it appeared when leaving the coining press. Structurally, the coin is composed of a copper and nickel outer layer bonded to a core of pure copper. On the obverse side, the profile of President John F. Kennedy faces left, a design originally crafted by Gilroy Roberts. The inscription of the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST", is positioned beneath the portrait, with the date of 2021 appearing at the bottom rim. The reverse, designed by Frank Gasparro, features the majestic heraldic eagle. The eagle holds a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing both strength and peace. The traditional Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is displayed, and the denomination "HALF DOLLAR" is clearly inscribed along the lower edge of the coin. The Denver origin is marked by the "D" mint mark on the coin's surface.
