A century after the classic Morgan dollar series concluded in 1921, the United States Mint revived this iconic design for a modern era. Struck at the Denver Mint in 2021, this specimen is crafted from 0.858 troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver. It has achieved a perfect grade of Mint State 70 (MS-70), representing the highest standard of preservation and strike quality. The obverse features George T. Morgan's famous profile of Lady Liberty facing left. Her hair is adorned with a Phrygian cap that holds sprigs of wheat and cotton, symbolizing American agriculture. Surrounding her portrait are thirteen stars, the year 2021, and the Latin motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. On the reverse, a powerful heraldic eagle is depicted with wings spread wide, grasping an olive branch and arrows in its talons. A partial wreath of wheat and cotton frames the eagle, echoing the agricultural themes from the obverse. This particular issue carries the 'D' mint mark, signifying its origin from the Denver facility, and represents a limited release with a mintage of 175,000 pieces.
