2021-(O) Silver Morgan Dollar MS-70 PCGS (Advanced Release)
In 2021, a special centennial tribute was struck to honor the final year of the classic Morgan Dollar, which originally saw production from 1878 to 1904, and once more in 1921. This modern issue contains 0.858 troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver and was produced at the Philadelphia Mint. To honor the historic New Orleans Mint where many original 19th-century dollars were struck, this coin features a distinctive 'O' privy mark. The obverse displays a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap decorated with cotton blossoms and wheat ears. On the reverse, an American eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide, clutching a laurel wreath alongside an olive branch and arrows. This particular specimen has been certified in the highest possible grade of Mint State 70 (MS-70) and is designated as an Advanced Release.
