2021-S Silver Morgan Dollar MS-70 PCGS (Advanced Release)

0.8580 troy oz .999 2021 MS-70 (PCGS)

In 2021, the United States Mint revived one of its most celebrated coin designs to mark exactly one century since the final historic Morgan Dollars were struck in 1921. Originally minted between 1878 and 1904, and then briefly brought back for a single year in 1921, this legendary design returned as a modern commemorative release. This particular silver coin was struck at the San Francisco Mint, carrying the famous 'S' mint mark as a nod to its production origin. It is struck in 0.858 troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver, with a strict mintage limit of 175,000 pieces for this specific variety. The obverse features the classic left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap decorated with cotton blossoms and ears of wheat, symbolizing the agricultural heritage of the nation. The year 2021 is clearly visible along the bottom rim. On the reverse, an American eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide, holding an olive branch and arrows in its talons to represent peace and strength. A delicate laurel wreath frames the eagle, completing a design that has fascinated numismatists for generations. This specimen has been graded in perfect Mint State 70 (MS-70) condition, representing a flawless strike with no visible imperfections under magnification. It stands as a beautiful bridge between America's rich 19th-century minting traditions and the high-tech production capabilities of the 21st century.
