2021 Silver Morgan Dollar MS-70 PCGS

0.8580 troy oz .999 2021 MS-70 (PCGS)

In 2021, the United States minted a special silver dollar to honor a historic coin series that originally ran from 1878 to 1904, and briefly returned in 1921. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint without a mint mark, this modern issue contains 0.858 troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver. The production of this specific release was limited to a mintage of 175,000 pieces. This particular specimen has been certified in perfect Mint State 70 condition, representing the highest possible grade for a struck coin. The obverse displays a classic profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap decorated with native American flora, specifically cotton blossoms and ears of wheat, with the word LIBERTY inscribed along the band. The reverse features an American eagle with outstretched wings, holding an olive branch and arrows in its talons, framed by a laurel wreath. The traditional mottoes, including "In God we trust," are clearly visible alongside the denomination of ONE DOLLAR.
