In 2021, the United States commemorated a century of one of its most beloved coin designs with a special silver release. This particular specimen has achieved a perfect grade of Mint State 70 (MS-70), representing the highest possible standard of preservation and strike quality. The obverse of the coin presents a striking profile of Liberty. She wears a crown of sharp, radiating light beams, a design envisioned by Anthony de Francisci. His stylized monogram, AF, is subtly placed on this side of the coin. The legend reads IN GOD WE TRUST, rendered with the classic spelling TRVST, alongside the date of 2021. On the reverse, a majestic American eagle is depicted at rest on a craggy mountain peak, looking toward the dawn. Clutched in its talons is an olive branch, symbolizing peace.
