2021 Silver Peace Dollar MS-70 PCGS (First Day of Issue)
A century after its original debut, a classic American design returned in the form of the 2021 Peace Dollar. Minted at the Philadelphia facility without a mint mark, this modern release serves as a centennial tribute to the historic 1921 original. The coin contains 0.858 troy ounces of 99.9 percent pure silver and is certified in perfect Mint State 70 condition, representing the highest possible standard of preservation. The obverse features a striking left-facing profile of Liberty, adorned with a crown of sharp light rays. Beneath her portrait, the monogram of the original artist, Anthony de Francisci, is visible. The design is accompanied by the classic inscription showing the spelling IN GOD WE TRVST. On the reverse, a majestic American eagle is depicted perched peacefully upon a mountain crag, clutching an olive branch in its talons as the sun rises in the background. The word PEACE is inscribed boldly at the base of the design, completing a powerful visual message of national hope.
