The 2022 American Silver Eagle represents a beautiful continuation of one of the most recognized silver bullion programs in the world. Struck from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this specimen has achieved a perfect grading of Mint State 70 (MS-70), indicating a flawless strike and pristine preservation. This coin belongs to the modern era of United States Mint production, carrying on a legacy of precious metal artistry that began in the mid 1980s. On the obverse, the design showcases Lady Liberty enveloped in the folds of the American flag. She moves with grace toward a rising sun that peeks over a mountain ridge, a classic composition originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. The legible inscriptions on this side include the year 2022 and the foundational motto, IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse displays a relatively new design introduced in 2021 to mark the thirty-fifth anniversary of the series. Created by Emily Damstra and sculpted by Michael Gaudioso, this artwork depicts an eagle descending with its wings spread, grasping an oak branch in its talons.
