This modern silver coin from Niue celebrates one of the most brilliant minds in scientific history. As the fourth entry in the celebrated Icons of Inspiration series, the piece is struck from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. It has achieved a perfect grading of Mint State 70, indicating its flawless condition and exceptional strike quality. The obverse of the coin showcases the renowned German physicist Albert Einstein, who is globally recognized for his groundbreaking work in quantum mechanics and relativity, including his 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics. His portrait is accompanied by his actual signature and his most famous mathematical formula, E=mc2. The background behind him features an intricate cosmic scene displaying planets and the swirling shape of a black hole. On the reverse, a classic muse is depicted pointing toward the sun while cradling the official state seal of Niue. This side also displays the year 2022 and the face value of 2 Dollars. The entire artistic concept for this issue was crafted by designer Joel Iskowitz, with the total production limited to 10,000 pieces.
