The 2022 American Silver Eagle represents a beautiful continuation of one of the most recognized silver programs in the world. Struck by the United States Mint, this coin contains one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. Measuring 40.6 mm in diameter and 2.98 mm in thickness, the physical presence of the coin provides an ideal canvas for its detailed artistry. On the obverse, the coin displays the classic design by Adolph A. Weinman, featuring the figure of Liberty moving gracefully across the landscape. The inscriptions include the word "LIBERTY" wrapping around the top edge, the phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST" positioned in the right field, and the year "2022" at the base. The reverse showcases a modern design by Emily Damstra, depicting an eagle in flight. Surrounding this central image are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "ONE DOLLAR", and "1 OZ. This particular coin has been graded in Mint State 69 (MS-69), indicating a nearly perfect strike with outstanding luster and preservation.
