The 2022 American Silver Eagle represents a beautiful continuation of United States coinage traditions. Struck from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this coin measures 40.6 mm in diameter and has a thickness of 2.98 mm. Graded in exceptional Mint State 69 condition, it showcases the intricate details of its dual designs with remarkable clarity. On the obverse, the iconic figure of Lady Liberty is depicted draped in the American flag, walking gracefully as the sun rises over a distant ridge. This classic image is based on the famous Walking Liberty design created by Adolph A. Weinman. Legible inscriptions on this side include the words LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year 2022. The reverse features a modern design introduced in the middle of 2021, created by Emily Damstra and sculpted by Michael Gaudioso. It portrays a single eagle in flight, descending toward a landing while gripping an oak branch in its talons.
