2022-(W) American Silver Eagle MS-70 NGC (Brown Label)
Introduced in 2022, this version of the American Silver Eagle represents a modern era of United States coinage. The coin contains one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, with a diameter of 40.6 mm and a thickness of 2.98 mm. Minted by the U.S. Mint, this specific coin has been graded in perfect Mint State 70 (MS-70) condition, representing the highest possible standard of preservation. The obverse features the classic depiction of Lady Liberty, originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. This timeless figure is shown walking toward a rising sun, accompanied by the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "2022". On the reverse, a newer design by Emily Damstra takes center stage. First introduced in the middle of 2021 to honor the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle coin series, this artwork depicts an eagle in detail. Surrounding the central image are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "ONE DOLLAR", "1 OZ. FINE SILVER", and the traditional motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM". Although struck at the West Point Mint, this coin does not display a mint mark.
