This 2023 edition, struck in one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, represents the continuation of a celebrated tradition. Certified in perfect Mint State 70 condition, the coin showcases two eras of American artistic vision on its surfaces, fully backed and guaranteed by the United States Mint. On the obverse, the legendary figure of Lady Liberty walks toward a rising sun, a timeless design originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. The legible inscription of the year 2023 and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST anchor this classic image. In contrast, the reverse features a contemporary depiction of an eagle in flight, clutching an oak branch as if preparing to land. Created by Emily Damstra, this reverse design was introduced in 2021 to mark a new chapter for the iconic series, blending heritage with modern illustration.
