The abbey is traditionally recognized as the sacred location where Mary, the mother of Jesus, fell into her eternal slumber, a concept reflected in its name, which stems from the Latin word for sleep. On one side, the design captures the main entryway of this historic abbey. This face also displays the year of issue, the weight of one ounce, and the 0.999 silver purity, with inscriptions presented in both Hebrew and English. The opposite side features a rich artistic compilation of Jerusalem landmarks.
