Bearing the 'S' mint mark, this coin is struck with a proof finish, which highlights the sharp contrast between the frosted design elements and the highly reflective fields. This issue is struck from 0.858 troy ounces of 99.9 percent pure silver, with a maximum production limit of 400,000 pieces. The obverse features a left-facing profile of Liberty, who wears a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat ears and cotton blossoms. The word 'LIBERTY' and the year 2023 are clearly visible on this side. On the reverse, an American eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide, gripping an olive branch alongside a bundle of arrows. A laurel wreath frames the eagle, completing a design that recalls the original series minted from 1878 to 1904, and again in 1921.
