This silver release marks the eighth entry in a series dedicated to Chiwoo Cheonwang, a legendary commander celebrated across both Korean and Chinese traditions. The design elements bring to life the epic struggles between this revered figure, alongside his military leaders, and demonic forces. On one side of the coin, Chiwoo Cheonwang is depicted in his full combat gear, carefully studying strategic plans with Latus. The opposite side showcases the gwi-myeon-wa, a protective shield belonging to Chiwoo Cheonwang that displays a prominent face with two bull horns. This specific shield imagery is preserved by the Gyeongju National Museum of the Republic of Korea. To ensure authenticity, a specialized lenticular security element is integrated directly into this side of the design. Struck from one troy ounce of 99.9 percent pure silver, this piece has a restricted production run of 30,000 units. Legible inscriptions on the surface include the issuing authority, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, the year 2023, the metal purity, and the name of the legendary figure, CHIWOO CHEONWANG.
