The obverse of the coin displays the iconic depiction of Lady Liberty, holding a lit torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. This legendary image is based on the historic twenty-dollar double eagle coin minted from 1907 to 1933, which was originally created by the celebrated sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
