Introduced in 2020, the gold version of this celebrated series brings a legendary biblical narrative to life. The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia issues these legal tender coins, with each piece carrying a state guarantee for its weight, purity, and overall quality. This specific release contains one quarter ounce of 99.99 percent pure gold, with a total production limited to 25,000 pieces. The reverse side, created by artist Eduard Kurghinyan, displays a detailed scene of the ark floating upon the receding floodwaters. In the background, Mount Ararat rises beneath a new dawn, while a dove carrying an olive branch flies in the foreground as a symbol of hope. The outer edge features the inscription "NOAH'S ARK" in both English and Armenian lettering. On the obverse, the official coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia takes center stage. Surrounding the national emblem are the face value of 10,000 DRAM, the 2024 year of issue, and the official weight and metal purity. The name of the issuing nation is also clearly inscribed in both languages, confirming its status as a sovereign release backed by the Armenian government.
