This striking silver coin celebrates the legacy of Ronald Belford Scott, known globally as Bon Scott, the original lead singer of the legendary rock band AC/DC. Born in Scotland in July 1946, Scott immigrated to Australia with his family in 1952 and eventually joined the band in 1974, cementing his place in music history. The Perth Mint honors his memory with this specially crafted piece, struck from one ounce of 99.99 percent pure silver and limited to a mintage of 5,000 pieces. The reverse side displays a vivid, colorized portrait of the iconic frontman. Alongside his likeness, the design incorporates his actual signature, "Bon", and the bold inscription "BON SCOTT". In a creative nod to his heritage and stage presence, the first letter "O" in his name is creatively overlaid with a heraldic lion rampant clutching a microphone. The Perth Mint's traditional "P" mint mark is also positioned on this side. On the obverse, the coin bears the official effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, designed by Jody Clark.
