The 2024 reverse design captures a dramatic moment in the Australian wilderness, depicting a kookaburra soaring over a deep gorge while clutching a snake in its talons. Alongside this detailed scene, the reverse features the inscription 'KOOKABURRA', the year, the weight, and the silver purity. Collectors will also spot a special 'P125' mint mark, which signifies the 125th anniversary of the Perth Mint, the historic institution that produces the coin. For added authenticity, a micro-laser engraved security feature is integrated directly into the reverse design.
