The reverse side, created by artist Alisha Giroux, features a charming group of Canadian animals, including a polar bear, a caribou, and a beaver, working together in a holiday setting. Through the application of lenticular technology, the image shifts dynamically as you tilt the coin, transitioning the scene from daytime to nighttime, and showing the animals move from decorating their tree to exchanging gifts. On the obverse, the coin displays the portrait of King Charles III, a design credited to Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
