This side also bears the Chinese characters representing the People's Republic of China alongside the 2024 release year. The reverse showcases a heartwarming scene of a mother panda alongside her young cub, accompanied by the face value of 200 Yuan and the metal specifications of 15 grams of 0.999 fine gold. These legal tender coins are backed by the People's Bank of China and are produced across multiple facilities, including mints in Shanghai, Shenyang, Shenzhen, and Beijing. While these institutions generally omit mint marks from their strikes, certain issues throughout the history of the series have occasionally displayed distinguishing letters such as 'Y' or 'S'.
