Representing the inaugural release in a three-part series dedicated to the famous tales of Robin Hood, this piece brings the classic hero to life. The reverse design, created by Jody Clark, depicts the famous archer amidst the branches of Sherwood Forest, ready with his bow and arrow. While the coin bears a 2024 theme, the obverse is dated 2023 and displays the official coinage portrait of King Charles III, a likeness captured by designer Martin Jennings.
