Struck with a brilliant prooflike finish, this 2024 issue has been certified in perfect Mint State 70 condition. The sheer scale of the coin provides an expansive canvas for the intricate artwork, which is backed by the official guarantee of the Banco de México. The front of the coin displays the Mexican national coat of arms, showing an eagle perched atop a cactus. This central emblem is encircled by ten historical provincial shields, representing the rich heritage of the nation. The inscription ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS curves gracefully along the top edge of this side. On the reverse, the Winged Victory statue rises proudly against a backdrop of the legendary volcanic peaks, Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. The design is framed by inscriptions detailing its weight, the 2024 year of issue, and the metal purity, reading PLATA PURA, 1 kg, and LEY 0.999.
