The 2024 Mexican Libertad two-ounce silver coin represents a continuation of a celebrated bullion tradition managed by the Banco de México. Struck at La Casa de Moneda de Mexico, the nation's historic mint, this brilliant uncirculated release is composed of two troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver. While the Libertad series itself commenced in 1982, this substantial two-ounce weight option was later introduced to the lineup in 1996. The obverse side of the coin features the modern Mexican national shield, which is encircled by the inscription "Estados Unidos Mexicanos". Framing this central emblem is a circular sequence of historical Mexican coats of arms, showcasing the evolution of the country's national symbol over time.
