2024 Netherlands Proof Silver Ducat Sabelspoort (Box/COA)

This striking silver coin belongs to the celebrated Dutch City Gates and Access Roads series, bringing historic fortifications to life. Struck in 0.7929 troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver, this proof-quality piece is backed by the Royal Dutch Mint and limited to a mintage of just 1,750 specimens. The obverse design showcases Duke Karel van Egmond clad in full armor, standing proudly in front of Arnhem's Sabelspoort gate. He holds a shield adorned with the coat of arms of Gelderland. This side features the traditional Latin inscription MO.NO.ARG.REG.BELGII.GEL., which connects the modern issue to historic coinage of the region. On the reverse, the Dutch national coat of arms is displayed beneath the Royal Crown, which splits the 2024 date. The legendary Latin motto CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT surrounds the central design, accompanied by the official mint and privy marks.
