This brilliant uncirculated silver release from 2024 honors the enduring legacy of William Shakespeare. As the ninth entry in the celebrated Icons of Inspiration series, this two-dollar legal tender coin is struck from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver. The issue is restricted to a worldwide mintage of 10,000 pieces, making it a notable release for those who appreciate literary history captured in precious metal. The obverse of the coin presents a detailed portrait of the legendary playwright holding a feather quill. Behind him, the design incorporates a representation of the historic Globe Theater alongside an image of the planet Earth. Arcing across the design is the famous line from his play As You Like It: "ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE, AND ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS".
