This striking silver coin, minted in 2024, celebrates one of cinema's most famous mechanical monsters. Struck from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, the coin has an extremely limited production run, with only 500 pieces minted worldwide under the authority of the sovereign government of Niue. The reverse side of the coin brings the mechanical titan to life with a vibrant, colorized depiction of Mechagodzilla. This robotic adversary first made its cinematic debut fifty years prior in the 1974 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. The character's name is clearly inscribed on this side of the coin, emphasizing its place in pop culture history.
